Days Lane Primary School runs their own breakfast and after-school club on site for pupils in Reception to Year 6 – 'School's Out'.  

Most members of staff who work in our provision are members of school staff whom the children may already be familiar with, e.g. teaching assistants or midday meal supervisors.  The Club provides hot and cold food to children before and after school, and plans a range of exciting activities for children to take part in throughout the week.

The breakfast club opens at 7.30am and children are escorted to their classrooms for the start of the school day at 8.30am. Children registered to attend the after-school club are picked up by the club staff from their classroom at the end of the school day and escorted to the facilities. Our after-school club runs from 3pm until 6.00pm. We close at 4pm on the last day of term at Christmas and Easter and 'School's Out' does not open on the last school day of the academic year. 

Please note that on exceptional days the timings of the club may be altered, such as an early school closure - such amendments are rare, and on each occasion where possible,  we will make sure it is well communicated and in advance of the altered timetable.

Please note that the club is very popular, and parents therefore need to book and pay in advance for their child to attend. Enquiries about the club should be sent to club@dayslaneprimary.co.uk - alternatively, parents can contact our school office for further information.

Booking sessions in advance (Breakfast - £6, After School £12)

The Breakfast and After-School aspects of School's Out may be booked separately. Before you can make bookings, you must complete and return our registration form which provides us with key details of the child(ren) you wish to register.

Booking Sessions ad-hoc (Breakfast - £9, After School - £15)

Ad-hoc sessions are considered to be sessions booked after the booking in advance window has closed. 

The latest time you can book for the Breakfast session is by 5.30am on the day, and the latest you can book for the After-School session is 1.30pm on the same day. As with advance bookings, your booking is only valid when you have paid in full, online via Arbor. Please note that if you are unable to proceed with booking on Arbor, this indicates that the session is full.

Notes on bookings

• 40 slots are available each day for the Breakfast session and 48 slots per day for the After-School session. 
• Slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
• No booking is valid until payment is made in full.

Changing your booking

You must request any alterations to your bookings via email to club@dayslaneprimary.co.uk. If you wish to cancel or amend your bookings, we can only issue refunds if you give one week's notice prior to the session. Ad-hoc sessions can not be cancelled or altered.
