Year 6 Remembrance Day Assemblies

Year 6 led an extremely moving Remembrance Day Assembly on Thursday. Their presentation, which included the use of song and sign language, made us all reflect on the bravery of men and women, who sacrificed so much for their countries. Please click on the link below to listen to our Year 6 children performing a song that was used during their presentation:

Two of our school Governors, Mrs Moore and Mrs Lancett, both attended our assemblies and commented, “We were privileged to be able to attend these moving and thoughtful assemblies today. All the children involved showed so much respect and confidence when presenting. The music, which was both sung and signed, was particularly powerful. Well done to everyone in Year 6!”
